The ECB have designed a free online module for a new Coaching Ambassador role within clubs. The Coaching Ambassador would play a key role in identifying and approaching specific people at our club to become coaches and attend coach education courses. The role would also be key in providing feedback to the Dorset Cricket Board and the Dorset ECB Coaches Association on what the education needs are for the clubs current workforce so the most appropriate workshops and courses can be provided both locally and as a County.

The Coaching Ambassador role would be ideal for someone at the club that has a passion for coach development, this would usually be the junior/youth co-ordinator but could be someone else at the club. The role would need to be performed by someone that is 18 years or older. The online Coaching Ambassador module would take about 40 mins to complete and is designed to provide the candidate with confidence and equip them with the knowledge, understanding and skills to recruit coaches, advocate coaching and help coaches unlock their potential.
